Who we are and how working together looks
What is the difference between a system house, an IT service provider and a systems integrator?
The labels overlap heavily. We call ourselves a systems integrator because the fit between parts is our core work: cabling, network, servers, cloud and security come from one house and are matched to each other. A pure reseller supplies products, a pure operator runs them — we do both, plus the planning in between.
Do you look after companies with several locations?
Yes. Multiple sites are the rule rather than the exception, particularly in logistics and manufacturing. What matters is the connection between them: how the sites link up securely, where the data lives, and who can be reached on site when hardware needs replacing.
At what size does an external IT partner start to pay off?
Dependence matters more than headcount. As soon as an outage hits your revenue or your ability to deliver, you need someone reachable who knows the environment. There are small firms with extremely critical IT and larger ones with surprisingly undemanding setups.
What happens to our credentials if the relationship ends?
You get everything back: access details, licences, documentation, diagrams. We hold nothing back and build nothing that only works while we are involved. Anyone who stays should stay because of the work.
// Services & hardware
What we take on, from buyback to software
Do you buy used IT hardware?
Yes, in a business context. We assess the equipment, collect it and wipe the storage media before anything is reused. That is particularly worthwhile for fleets of devices being replaced in one go.
Do you also sell refurbished equipment?
Yes. Reconditioned business machines are a sensible option when workstations are needed at short notice or a budget will not stretch to new devices. They are tested and handed over ready to use.
Can you handle procurement of new hardware?
Yes. We select what fits the existing environment, handle ordering and delivery and set the devices up. The benefit lies less in the purchase price than in the fact that the equipment matches both each other and what you already run.
Do you develop software in-house?
Yes, where standard products do not cover a process or two systems need to talk to each other. Usually that means interfaces between inventory management, a line-of-business application and the web — full new builds are rarer.
// Operations & security
How day-to-day operations work with us
What exactly does your monitoring watch?
Availability and health of the systems your business rests on: servers, network components, disk capacity, backups and critical services. The aim is that we learn about a fault before anyone at your end reaches for the phone.
Do you check that our backup can actually be restored?
Yes, and that is the more important half. A backup that has never been restored is an assumption. So testing restores is part of looking after backups, not an optional extra.
How would we hear about a security incident?
Directly and without varnish, by phone first and in writing afterwards. That includes what is affected, what we have already done and which decisions sit with you. We tell you even when the incident turned out to be harmless.
Do we get named contacts?
Yes. You speak to people who know your environment instead of explaining your setup from scratch every time. During holidays or illness someone briefed takes over — which is what the documentation is for.

Questions about runs, measurements and halls
Do you install fibre inside a building as well?
Yes, on commercial premises: between floor distributors, between buildings on a site, or as the link to a server room. Private home installations are not something we take on.
What is a measurement report and why does it matter?
After installation we measure every run and record the values. The report proves the performance class is genuinely reached, and it helps with every later fault hunt because you hold a reference from the day it was new. We install and measure ourselves.
Do you cable warehouses, production halls and outdoor areas?
Yes. Halls, stores, workshops and outdoor runs place different demands on materials than an office: dust, moisture, temperature, mechanical load and considerably longer distances. That changes the materials and the method, not the care taken.
// Offers & contracts
What an offer costs and what it contains
What does it cost to have our IT looked after?
That depends on workstations, systems and the scope you want, which is why we quote no blanket figure in advance. After the survey you receive an offer broken down by item, so you can see what could be dropped.
Will we be tied into a long contract?
The term follows the scope and is stated in every offer before you sign. Our interest is in keeping clients through the work rather than through a notice period, so we would rather talk about how to leave than avoid the subject.
Can we start small?
Yes, and it is often the best route. One bounded piece of work — a cabling job, a server replacement, a security review — shows you how we operate without committing your entire IT to the decision.
